RE: BENSONS “CAT” ADVERTISEMENT

We wish to assure any concerned customers that the effect seen in our advertisement was achieved by “trick” photography and that no harm came to the cat involved in the filming. On the contrary, this rather special cat is an established film star called “Crackerjack”. He has appeared as “Crookshanks” Hermione’s cat in the series of Harry Potter films. As well as a trained cat handler, he also had a qualified vet on set at all times during filming to ensure that “Crackerjack” was well cared for. At Bensons we too are animal / pet lovers and enjoyed working with Crackerjack even if he was a little temperamental as film stars can sometimes be!
