The real beauty of a divan bed is the extra storage space it can give you, ideal if space is at a premium in your bedroom. All of our models come with the option of integrated drawers, which are really handy for bedlinen, towels or children's toys. Depending on the size of the divan bed you choose, you have the option of non drawer, two or four drawers. Our collection of divan beds have a 5 year guarantee, come in 5 different sizes, from single to super king, and in a range of colours to suit the décor of your bedroom.
Some models, such as our Sleepmasters Pocket Sprung Divan Bed also give you the option of a sprung divan base – a layer of springs that covers the top of the base – which give you extra comfort and support, and also helps to prolong the life of your mattress.

Types of mattresses
Memory Foam Mattresses
This innovative material, originally developed by NASA, is heat and weight reactive and moulds to your body shape. This technology can help to reduce pressure points by up to 34% and eliminate tossing and turning.

Open Coil Mattresses
This is our most popular type of mattress, in fact, 80% of beds in the UK have open coil mattresses. They are hard wearing and retain their shape longer due to a condensed lattice of hour-glass shaped springs designed to spread weight more evenly. The thicker the spring, the firmer the mattress.
Vacuum Packed Mattresses
You get all the quality and benefits you would expect from your mattress, just in a more practical, portable form. Once unwrapped, they regain their shape within a couple of hours.
Pocket Sprung Mattresses
As the name suggests, with a pocket sprung mattress each spring is contained in its own individual fabric pocket. This means the springs can work independently of each other, creating individual sleeping zones, easing pressure points and offering unique support.
Latex Mattresses
Latex mattresses are made from a naturally elastic material derived from the sap of the rubber tree. It's resilient, durable and has antimicrobial properties which make it an excellent choice for allergy sufferers. It offers excellent support and comfort, is self-airing and will never require turning.

Soft/Medium:
Ideal if you sleep on your side, as it lets your shoulders and hips sink into the mattress while supporting the rest of your body.
Medium:
Great if you sleep on your side, but prefer a slightly firmer feel.
Medium/Firm:
A good option if you change position a lot and sleep on your side and your back.
Firm:
Just the right support if you sleep on your back or on your front with a medium height pillow.
Extra Firm:
Often referred to as orthopaedic, they have a very firm and supportive feel.
