Expert insists sleep key to women’s health
An Indian nutrition expert has claimed sleep is one of the cornerstones of good health in women.
Rujuta Diwakar has advised that nutrition, exercise, relationships and slumber are essential to keeping females fit, the Indo-Asian News Service reports.
The author of the successful book Don’t Lose Your Mind, Lose Your Weight and new publication Women and the Weight Loss Tamasha explained it is important to be healthy rather than starve.
She has worked with a host of Bollywood stars, including Karishma Kapoor, Anil Ambani, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta.
Westland Tranquebar Press executive editor Deepthi Talwar told the news source suggested books such as Ms Diwakar’s are popular because “the kind of lifestyles people lead, the pressures people are under, lead to a host of disorders and unhealthy habits”.
A recent article in the Metro highlighted the benefits of spending time on mattresses getting good sleep in boosting immune systems in order to fight off illnesses during the winter months.
