All our stores have had to temporarily close due to the latest government lockdown, for any enquiries regarding existing orders please telephone your local store and they will be able to assist you. If you are wishing to place an order you can still do this over the phone or online.

Working hard to make sure its business-as-usual

I’m sure you’ll have heard, like us, of plans for England to go into a second lockdown from this Thursday (5 November) until the beginning of December. We wanted to reassure you that we’ll do everything we can to make sure this doesn’t affect the order you’ve placed with us. We also intend to do everything we can to help keep our customers and team safe and well. After all, we’re not just a bed company, we’re a group of individuals who care deeply about the mental and physical wellbeing of our communities, especially at a time like this.

We know that right now many of you are relying on our products to get a good night’s sleep, so we are working tirelessly to ensure that you receive your bed in the fastest and safest way possible, so it is one less thing for you to worry about.

  • Standing back from the front door once we have knocked/rung the bell
  • Sanitising our hands after every delivery
  • Checking where you want us to place your product; we will continue to deliver to your room of choice if that remains your preference
  • Maintaining a distance of two metres from you in your home

Sadly, we’ll continue to be unable to deliver to any household where someone has Covid symptoms or is self-isolating following a positive test result. Please do let us know if anybody is affected in this way as early as possible so we can reschedule the delivery to another time.

We’re also pleased to be able to tell you that line with government advice to keep British manufacturing open, Bensons’ factory in Huntingdon, is also fully operational to fulfil existing and new orders. It goes without saying that we’re also following all the best hygiene and distancing measures there too, so we protect our colleagues as they work on your order.

When will my order be delivered?

We are currently working very hard with all our suppliers who are operating at a reduced production rate to ensure they adhere to government guidelines. Our specialist delivery bookings team will contact you as soon as we have a delivery date confirmed. We kindly ask that you are patient with us and not to contact us for an update as this will restrict our ability to contact you when we have a date.

Why is my order delayed?

Due to our manufacturing facilities working at a reduced production rate to ensure adherence to government guidelines and to keep all staff safe, your order is taking a little longer than usual. Please be assured that all parties are working very hard to ensure we receive your order as quickly and safely as possible.

How will by order be delivered?

To ensure adherence to government guidelines and to make sure we keep our customers and staff safe, we will be offering contactless delivery, either to your door or to a room of your choice. All drivers will have the correct PPE including, hand gel, antibacterial wipes, gloves and face masks. Our drivers will call you on the morning of your delivery and will ask you a series of questions before fully explaining the delivery process to make you feel as comfortable as possible beforehand.

What precautions are you taking to ensure you are complying to Government guidelines and delivering my product to me as safely as possible?

All our manufacturing facilities, supply chain and logistics teams are working to guidelines set out by the HSE and Government to ensure all products and staff are safe.

Can I request that my delivery be taken up to my bedroom / relevant room?

Yes, but we just ask that you keep all external and internal doors open in your home and ensure that you keep a 2-metre distance from our drivers at all times.Text

Why are people who have ordered products after me receiving their products before me?

Our products are provided by a number of suppliers and each is working to their own lead times, so this can sometimes affect how quickly certain products are delivered. We also have a higher demand of certain products than others which also means that some products may be manufactured and delivered sooner than others. However, please be assured that every order is treated with the same priority and our specialist delivery bookings team will contact you as soon as we have a delivery date confirmed.

Why have I been given a delivery date of 2050?

You may have initially received a delivery date of 2015. Please be advised this is a holding date only. To enable us to process your order, our system has to process a date. However, we are busy in the background working with our suppliers to confirm a date of when your order is due into our warehouse. Our specialist delivery bookings team will then contact you to arrange a delivery date that suits you. If your order is being delivered directly from the supplier, they will contact you directly to arrange delivery within the lead time quoted on our website.
