Price Match Guarantee Terms & Conditions
1. Overview
Our Price Match Guarantee — “Price Match, never beaten on price” — ensures you always receive the best value when purchasing an Identical Product from a UK Retailer to an Eligible Product (as defined below) from Bensons for Beds.
This Price Match Guarantee applies from DATE TO BE CONFIRMED and is subject to the terms below. It applies to selected products (“Eligible Products”) sold by Bensons for Beds in-store, online, or via our Telesales team.
2. Eligible Products
This Price Match Guarantee applies to a wide range of products, including:
- Mattresses
- Beds
- Pillows
- Mattress protectors
- Duvets and other branded sleep accessories
(“Eligible Products”)
3. Identical Product Definition
An Identical Product is one that, in the reasonable opinion of Bensons for Beds, matches in:
- Brand
- Model
- Size
- Specification (including materials, construction, comfort layers, firmness, and cooling technology)
- Colour
Products must be:
- New (not clearance, refurbished, or second-hand)
- Available for immediate purchase at the time of the claim
- Publicly available and verifiable.
4. Where We Match
We will price match only against the following 12 UK retailers below:
- Dreams
- Furniture Village
- DFS
- John Lewis
- Argos
- Barker & Stonehouse
- Dunelm
- Simba
- Very
- Next
- Dormeo
- Eve
(“UK Retailers”)
Products must be sold directly by the UK Retailer i.e. not through marketplaces or third-party sellers.
5. When You Can Claim
At Point of Sale (In-Store, Online or Telesales)
If you find an Identical Product from a UK Retailer at a lower price before purchasing, we will:
- Match the competitor’s price.
- Apply an additional discount: £25 extra off mattresses, bedframes, and main products AND/OR £5 extra off pillows, duvets, mattress protectors, and other softs
After Purchase
If you’ve already bought an Eligible Product from us, you can still claim within 7 days of purchase. Once verified, we will:
- Refund the price difference.
- Apply the additional: £25 goodwill payment (main products) £5 goodwill payment (softs)

Free Gift / Bundle Exclusion
Price matching does not apply where differences relate to “free gift” or bundle offers.
For example, if one UK Retailer includes free items and Bensons does not, the Price Match Guarantee will not apply.
9. Refund Process Where a post-purchase claim is validated:
- We will refund the price difference
- Pay the applicable additional £25 / £5 amount
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
10. Legal Disclaimers Exclusions:
This Price Match Guarantee does not apply to:
- Auction websites
- Marketplace sellers (e.g. Amazon Marketplace, eBay)
- Private sales
- Prices requiring memberships, subscriptions, or voucher codes
Verification: We reserve the right to refuse a claim where in our reasonable opinion:
- The price cannot be verified
- The product is not deemed identical
Discretion: All decisions made by Bensons for Beds regarding eligibility are final.
Changes: We reserve the right to amend or withdraw this Price Match Guarantee at any time without notice.
Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Your statutory rights are not affected.
General: This Price Match Guarantee is offered by Bensons for Beds Retail Ltd, The Globe Centre, 1 St James Square, Accrington, BB5 0RE.
This Price Match Guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights including those under the Consumer Rights Act, which are not affected.
