Just like Bensons for Beds, I am positively obsessed with sleep and passionate about helping the nation to sleep better. I believe that sleep is very individualistic; no single approach fits all. Bensons are experts at providing personalised sleep solutions and I have a proven track record of helping bad sleepers overcome bad sleep and learn how to sleep well. It’s a great match and I’m looking forward to working with Bensons, helping to spread the word about sleep via social channels and through the Sleep Hub, as well as through my own Substack channel and the media.
I have written, presented, and broadcasted about sleep for over 10 years. My expertise has been showcased on the Channel 4 series The Secrets of Sleep (as one of the regular panel of sleep experts), as well as appearances on The One Show, This Morning, BBC Breakfast, Steph’s Packed Lunch, Channel 4 News, Sky Sports, and Football Focus, amongst many others.
Supporting athletes has always been a passion of mine, and in elite sport such as professional football, sleep is a huge talking point. I’ve worked with football teams including Coventry City, West Ham United and the FA, and I’m proud to have won more promotions and trophies than any other Sleep Coach working in football.
I am the resident sleep expert on Radio 1’s Life Hacks, and have featured on radio broadcasts across Radio 4, 5 Live, TalkSport, TalkRadio and lots of BBC local radio stations too.
I have written and contributed to articles across popular publications including Time, Forbes, Newsweek, The Financial Times, Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Belle, and many popular daily news publication outlets too.
Finally, through my social enterprise, SleepUnity, I’ve had the opportunity to help hundreds of individuals, sports organisations and communities with their sleep using my non-nonsense approach to sleep methods.
Rather than advising treatment that does not suit the individual circumstances of personality, I prefer to focus on the person I am working with.
While there is a lot of science behind sleep, and rightly so, the way it is translated can often be disruptive rather than helpful. My approach looks at underlying problems, asks the bad sleeper what is within their control, and helps people triage their sleep issues, ensuring they end up getting the right expertise rather than a “one size fits all” prescriptive approach.
