Simba Mattress Collection

Simba mattresses are some of the most popular in the UK. Combining Simba’s patented titanium alloy Aerocoil® springs with open structure Simbatex® foam, a Simba hybrid mattress could be exactly what you need to sleep better. The popularity of hybrid mattresses is on the rise. Could now be the right time for you to make the switch to a supportive, temperature regulating mattress? Explore the Simba hybrid mattress collection below to find out.

What’s different about a Simba hybrid mattress?

Simba hybrid mattresses have been designed to support body alignment and deliver pressure relief thanks to the titanium alloy Aerocoil® springs used within their makeup. These mattresses also boast Simba’s open structure Simbatex® foam, which gives enhanced elasticity, promoting comfort and improving airflow to help keep you cool as you sleep.

With built in zoned support system, a Simba hybrid mattress has been specifically designed to deliver support to your body where it’s most needed while you sleep. The CertiPUR® foam base features five targeted zones that help to keep front, back, and side sleepers comfortable and fully supported during the night.

How do I properly care for a Simba mattress?

Caring for a Simba hybrid mattress is easy with a little know-how. Here, we’ll take you through the need-to-know info to ensure that you can maximise its life expectancy.

First thing to note is that all Simba hybrid mattresses are one sided. This means that you won’t have to worry about flipping your new mattress to promote even wear. But, you will need to commit to rotating your mattress regularly. This is actually one of the conditions of your manufacturer-issued warranty. Simba requires you to rotate all its mattresses by 180 degrees once a month for the initial 3 months, and then once every 3 months for the remainder of its life.

But don’t worry. Simba mattresses are equipped with sturdy mattress handles to make rotating your mattress easier to do.

How to clean Simba mattresses

Simba recommends using a mattress protector to help keep your mattress in excellent condition. Discover why feel that every mattress deserves a mattress protector in our dedicated informative blog post.

When it comes to cleaning a Simba mattress, there are a few different methods for the different mattresses in the collection:

Mattresses with the zip on the underside of the mattress: If your Simba mattress zip is underneath your mattress, it’s cover is not removable. Nor is it machine washable. This type of Simba mattress, the brand recommends spot cleaning only. Use a damp cloth with light cleaning products if necessary.

For Simba mattresses featuring a zip that runs around the side of the mattress, mattress cleaning is much easier. Simply unzip the top white sleep surface and pop it into the machine (maximum temperature 40°) on a lower spin cycle. Simba also strongly advises against the use of chlorine bleach. And you shouldn’t tumble dry, iron or dry clean your mattress cover either. The grey half of your mattress cover only requires a spot clean with a damp cloth.

If your Simba mattress cover is looking a little worse for wear, you can actually buy a brand new one direct from the Simba website.

Got a Simba Earth mattress? Because of how the Source, Escape and Apex mattresses have been manufactured (hand made with the layers tufted) the mattress covers for this range are non-removable. Simba advises using a soft brush to remove dust and fluff from any of its Earth range mattress. Minor spills should be mopped up with a dry cloth or some paper towels. And for any larger spills, a damp cloth and mild soap can be used.

The Simba Earth mattress collection should not be vacuum cleaned either. This can displace the natural fillings inside your mattress. Again, using a mattress protector to protect your Simba is the best way to keep your it in great condition.
